What’s the latest on the “supernatural” series finale of The Vampire Diaries?

The Vampire diaries’ fifth season has been renewed for a sixth season, and with it, the possibility of a “supernormal” crossover.

“I’m very excited to see how this all plays out, but at the same time, I’m extremely cautious about what we do and what we don’t do,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena, California, on Friday.

“We’re not going to get too far ahead of ourselves, because that’s the risk we’re taking here, but I can say that this is a season that will take place between two parallel timelines.”

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kreisbursts that he and co-creator Matthew Sweet will return for Season 5 in 2019, but that he also hopes to introduce some “superhumans” into the mix.

“There’s a whole lot of people in the world that will be able to exist in the show,” Kreisburg said.

“This season is very much a time jump, a time travel episode.”

“We hope to get to see some supernatural things that we’re not allowed to in the series, like vampires that are not human, or the paranormal, but we will certainly try to make sure we bring some new ones into the fold,” he added.

“And then, if that’s what happens, we’ll bring some supernatural characters back.”

Kreisberger previously teased a possible “superhuman” crossover, saying, “I don’t think we’ll ever see the show, I think we just have to do it in the most natural way possible.”

I think that’s probably the most interesting element of the series. “

In Episode 10, you’ll have some sort of a supernatural thing happen.

I think that’s probably the most interesting element of the series.

And I think it’s important that we do have some supernatural elements in there.”

Season 6 will be the final season of the Vampire Diary.

The Vampire and Vampire Slayer have both been canceled since the end of the 2016-2017 season.
